You can choose from different publishing models in the "3. Enter Metadata" section. This is a mandatory step.
If the publishing model is not selected correctly, your current submission will be declined, and you will be asked to resubmit it with a different publishing model.
1. EISZ-Sponsored Open Access (only for authors affiliated with EISZ member institutions) – free of charge for authors
This option is available only to corresponding authors affiliated with EISZ member institutions. See the list here >>>
Please note that if you select an EISZ member institution, your eligibility will first be checked and approved/declined by the EISZ administrator(s) of that institution. Do not select this model if your institution is not listed!
2. Open Access covered by the Article Processing Charge (APC) waived by the journal
In practice, a number of funded waivers are available, courtesy of Corvinus University. If the corresponding author is not affiliated with an EISZ member institution, and in the unlikely event that funded waivers have been exhausted, the APC is 900 EUR (including VAT, if applicable).
Please note that even if your free Open Access request is approved at the time of submission, it is subject to waiver availability at the time of acceptance.
If waivers are no longer available and the APC must be paid, production of your manuscript will begin only after the corresponding APC has been settled.
